John de Bever shocked the stars of Shownieuws by showing his feet. “I think those nails are very serious,” says Guido den Aantrekker, shocked.
John de Bever’s health is not going well, because the folk singer has quite a pain in his foot. “That’s right. We were shooting at his house yesterday and our team noticed that he was really stumbling through the house with an extremely swollen foot,” Story editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker explains in Show news.

Then what’s going on? Guido explains: “Well, he thinks he broke his metatarsal while playing football. He is of course a footballer by origin and he still does that every Wednesday. He is 58, has to be a bit careful, but okay. He thinks it will work out in the end, but it comes at an unpleasant time.”
“Next Tuesday is the shooting for The Hunting Season and of course he really has to flee. That’s not very convenient. He also has some appearances, but he is limping through.”
‘Toes not in view!’
The Shownieuws viewer will then see the item at John’s home. When the camera focuses on his feet at one point, his partner Kees shouts: “Don’t put those toes in the picture!”
John doesn’t think it’s a problem. “Yes, I can’t do anything about that. That’s a fungal nail.”
Guido is quite shocked: “I think those nails are very serious. We have to make a topic about that again, because that doesn’t sit right.”
