The singer announced in a statement that the reason was, among other things, the “damn big” stage.
In the summer of 2024, Adele will come to Germany for ten concerts. All of the singer’s performances in Europe this year are scheduled only for Munich. The 35-year-old is already getting into physical shape for these gigs. She has now revealed that she is already “training like an athlete” in preparation for the live shows in August.
“The stage is damn big”
According to “Mailonline”, her plan includes up to three exercise sessions per day in order to be sufficiently fit by the beginning of August. “The reason I’m training like an athlete again is because the stage I announced in Germany is damn big,” explains Adele in her official statement. The stage in question is even being built especially for the “Hello” singer. The pop-up stadium is intended to make an open-air event possible for up to 80,000 people per evening. Perhaps the musician would have to resort to unconventional training methods in order to be prepared for the meter-long walkways of the concert arena. She elaborated that she’ll “maybe start doing what Beyoncé had to do when she was a teenager” – go running consistently in a park or on a treadmill in high heels.
Four become eight, eight become ten
Initially only four concerts were planned for Munich – then eight, and now ten. Although it should probably stay with these ten gigs. The reason for this is the expected enormous rush for tickets. By the time the presale registration was completed, “more than 2.2 million fans had already registered for the now total of 10 open-air concerts at the Munich Trade Fair,” according to the organizer.

Advance sales for registered fans begin on Wednesday, February 7th at 10 a.m. in a staggered manner. First there are tickets for August 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th. Tickets for August 14th, 16th, 23rd and 24th will follow at 2 p.m. The ninth and tenth shows on August 30th and 31st go into presale at 6:00 p.m.
