Josip Stanisic’s departure from FC Bayern is getting closer and closer, although Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Simon Rolfes did not want to announce the completion of his team’s Bundesliga duel against RB Leipzig.

Stanisic only extended his contract in Munich until 2026 last fall.

In the past few days, meanwhile, it had become increasingly clear that homegrown Stanisic could still leave FC Bayern around the start of the season.
Both in the Supercup against RB Leipzig (0:3) and in the Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen (4:0), the Croatian international was not in coach Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
According to “Sky”, another newcomer to Bayer could be Nathan Tella from FC Southampton. Unlike Stanisic, the Bundesliga club is apparently aiming for a permanent transfer.
The Rhinelander’s asking price should amount to 16 to 18 million euros. However, the two clubs still seem to be a little apart in the negotiations.
The Premier League club is currently demanding 25 to 30 million euros for Tella, it is said.
