FC Ingolstadt clearly defeated Hallesche FC 4-0 and thus celebrated their first win of the season in the second game. The debutant Julian Kügel initiated the success with the opening goal to make it 1-0.

With Yannick Deichmann and Julian Kügel, FCI trainer Michael Köllner sent two completely new players into the game against Halleschen FC. Kügel rewarded that with the opening goal, which initiated the 4:0 victory of the Schanzer – the first success of the season for the Schanzer.

Debutante Kügel takes the lead

New signing Yannick Deichmann made his starting eleven debut in midfield. In attack, he gave Julian Kügel a chance for the first time: The 26-year-old was only given a professional contract last week and was originally planned for the second team.

After a quarter of an hour, the debutant cleverly used a lack of attention on the opposing defense. Kügel was suddenly free in the penalty area and effortlessly scored the opening goal (15th minute). As a result, Halle got better, but missed all opportunities to equalize.

Costly creates the double pack

Marcel Costly rewarded FCI for the strong start to the second half. The offensive player casually pushed the ball in to make it 2-0. Jannik Mause made it 3-0 (65th). Halle had nothing more to oppose. Instead, Costly even managed his second goal (87th).
