An angry mob roams the streets of Berlin with hate speech against Jews and Israel. A case for the police? think.

They accompany the Palestinian protest march with 250 officials, including interpreters, but do not intervene.

Incredible justification by the police: no criminal offenses were noticed. The law criminalizes incitement to hatred.

Civil organizations, such as democ.de, eventually documenting hate and hate speech. Berliners filed a criminal complaint. Now the state security is investigating against the propagandists.

A bitter lesson for Berlin’s police leadership: there must be no room for hate speech on Berlin’s streets. Whether against Jews, Christians or Muslims.
