For the first time, Till Lindemann commented on the allegations of abuse made against him – without addressing them directly. At the second Rammstein concert in Munich (June 8th) there was that obligatory kneeling in front of an audience, then the 60-year-old initially spoke apparently about the weather, before drawing an analogy to his current situation: “We were extremely lucky with the announced storm. Believe me, the other one will pass too. Many, many thanks.” Thunderous applause in the Olympic Stadium.
Also on Thursday, the band’s lawyers spoke for the first time. According to the press release, the allegations are all untrue. Legal action was announced against anyone who made these allegations.
