In fact, there is less and less a Pitti Uomo June 2023scheduled from 13 to 16 Juneas usual in the frame of the Lower Fortress to Florence. The edition number 104 of the event prepares to welcome 825 brands, up on previous appointments, of which 41% were foreign. Established maisons and emerging realities will unveil the Spring Summer 2024 collections, in a continuous dialogue between tradition and innovation, now a hallmark of Pitti Image Man.
An edition in the sign of the game
The theme of the June salon will be Pitti Games. A playful, amused and amusing dimension will therefore prevail, mirroring the optimism that animates the menswear sector, which is booming after the pandemic period. «We went so far as to imagine the Pitti salons as a large gaming table on which to have fun», said the general manager of Pitti Immagine Agostino Poletto. The Fortezza da Basso will be divided into five stylistic sections: Fantastic classics, Male future, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling And I Go Out. The universe of men’s fashion thus ranges from classic to casual, from lifestyle to sport, in all its forms. Finally, it will not be missing after the debut and success in the last edition, Pitti Petsthe special area dedicated to animals.
From Fendi to ERL, the most awaited events of Pitti Uomo June 2023
On the occasion of the 104th edition of the event, the Designer Project will be CHULAAP, a brand founded and directed by Chu Suwannapha, a Thai but active South African stylist, who has imagined an unprecedented Hall of Nations in the sign of colour. The anticipation for the show is growing Guest Designers Eli Russell Linnetz, founder of ERL, a brand loved by celebrities that can already boast a collaboration with Dior. In addition to signing a large installation in the central square of the Fortezza da Basso, ERL will unveil its next summer collection on the evening of 15 June.
It will be on the same day Fendi to give an unprecedented moment for Pitti Immagine Uomo. As special guests of this edition, the Roman maison will open the doors of the recently inaugurated FENDI Factoryproduction center in Capannuccia, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, where the Spring Summer 2023/24 menswear show will take place, signed by Kim Jones. June 13th is, however, the turn of Louise Beccariawhich has prepared a charity fashion show for the CORRI LA VITA Onlus Association, while on June 14th the great event of LuisaViaRoma Runway Iconsa multi-brand show with a very high level of glamour.

Green soul and space for the new generations
These are two other founding elements of Pitti Uomo June 2023. The first is explored through the partnership with Kering Material Innovation Labthe Kering group’s research center dedicated to reducing the environmental impact, which is added to the project S|Style, within which young sustainable designers will have the opportunity to create and experiment starting from certified fabrics and materials supplied by Kering MIL. The focus on the next generation of creatives will culminate with the graduation show of the Polimoda of Florencescheduled for June 15th.
