The Berlin online fashion retailer Zalando SE is launching an exclusive capsule collection by the Danish label Designers Remix. Under the motto “The Art of Remade”, Designers Remix “recycled leftovers from Zalando and their own studio into 20 parts – from dresses to shorts, tops, blazers, shirts and hats,” the company said on Thursday.
The collection will be “available in all 25 of Zalando’s European markets” from June 15, but due to the complex manufacturing processes “only limited quantities will be produced,” according to a statement.
Lena-Sophie Röper, Director Designer & Luxury at Zalando, explained the collaboration with which the company is continuing its partnership with the Danish brand, which has existed since 2016: “We are very pleased to be working with Designers Remix on this special collection. The main idea is to create favorite pieces,” she said in a statement.
“The quality and a cultural connection with a brand are very important in our designer offer,” emphasized Röper. “Designers Remix is one of the best-selling Scandinavian brands at Zalando. This joint, exclusive collection gives us the opportunity to offer our customers exceptional and locally relevant products, while also celebrating and recognizing designers and other creative minds from Scandinavia.”
