“She talks it all straight!”

Irene Moors annoys Evert Santegoeds. He thinks that the presenter reacts very angry to the criticism she receives. “It made no sense and she just knew it.”

The RTL 4-flop Alles is Muziek has probably been even more harmful to Irene Moors than to the presenter of the programme, Marieke Elsinga. According to Angela de Jong, Irene has shown herself in this show as a TV star in decline. And that continues to haunt the presenter.

“You knew this, Irene!”

It doesn’t help that Irene is so peeved about the criticism she’s received for her shuffleboard rambling. After Johan Derksen, she now gets even more critics. “The format was that Irene Moors was going to make music on a shuffleboard,” Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden cynically notes in the podcast. Strictly Private.

Colleague Evert Santegoeds: “Yes, and he is going to straighten that out and say that it is very unfair that criticism. It all made no sense anyway! And she knew that. You knew that when you started making it, didn’t you?”

Very bad

Evert thinks that Irene should just put her hand in her own bosom at such a moment. “It was just as bad as that NIX Factor at SBS, that you first probably have the title and then a program is devised around it. That will not score, but they have the courage and the experience to remove programs from the tube sooner.”

He continues: “It is a loud laugh. Peter van der Vorst too. That is also not one big success number that he puts there. (…) It always seems that this only happens with SBS 6, but that is of course not the case. At RTL they also have mistakes and you saw that here. From the first ten minutes of that program.”

Is this television flop harmful to Marieke’s image? “Well, it is not a flawless start to your career on the tube as a solo presenter of course. You can’t get any worse than this.”
