Princess Madeleine’s firstborn Leonore, 9, was hospitalized

Princess Madeleine’s trip to Sweden has been canceled due to the incident.

The Swedish newspaper Expressen writes, that Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill’s first child Leonore, 9, has been hospitalized. Leonore’s arm is broken as a result of the fall and the arm has to be operated on.

According to Expressen, Leonore is currently in the hospital and is waiting to be admitted to the operation.

Madeleine was supposed to visit Sweden today, Wednesday, May 10, and participate in an event organized in Gröna Lund. The event is organized by Queen Silvia’s World Childhood Foundation. However, the princess’s participation and trip have had to be canceled due to Leonore’s situation. World Childhood Foundation confirms the matter in his announcement and wishes Leonore a speedy recovery.

Sweden’s King Kaarle Kustaa, Queen Silvia and Princess Victoria will attend the evening’s event without Madeleine.

Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, who got married in 2013, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in June. In addition to Leonore, the couple has a son Nicolas, 7, and a daughter Adrienne, 5.

Madeleine and Chris O’Neill’s youngest child Adrienne was born in 2018.
