Mika Hakkinen was filmed at the F1 pit in Miami in a group full of people.
Based on the picture published by Sky Sports, Häkkinen, who works as an expert at Viaplay, talked with Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, in the pit. Bezos was accompanied by a female friend Lauren Sanchez.
Sky Sports took to Twitter to make fun of how Sánchez is surrounded by the sunken Bezos and F1 icon Häkkinen.
– Would you rather take $127 billion or two World Drivers’ Championships? Sky asked his followers.
Fan responses were mixed.
– That’s just a stupid question. Of course I’d rather be Mika Häkkinen, one follower commented.
– I would take the money. Success can always be bought, another pointed out.
– Two F1 championships. Mikal is certainly not short of money either, the third guessed.
Bezos along for the ride
Häkkinen revealed on the Viaplay broadcast that he drove Bezos around the F1 circuit in Miami in a McLaren Artura car.
– He was really happy. I asked, have you ever experienced something like this: That you get on a racetrack in a sports car like this? Häkkinen told.
– Jeff said that he has been in a Ferrari. I said don’t get on it now. Get and buy McLaren. But I’m a little afraid he got it wrong. He could buy the whole McLaren, not just one car, Häkkinen laughed.
