An 8-year-old boy died in a serious accident in Duizel on Wednesday afternoon. A car and the child, who was on foot, collided. This is reported by the police.
The accident happened just after half past five in the Waterhof. It was initially reported that one or more people were injured, after which an air ambulance was alerted.
It is unclear how the accident could have happened. A special police traffic team is investigating.
