Young AZ collects late equalizer and Young Ajax disappoints in Oss

Young AZ failed to take home the three points. Just before time, ADO Den Haag scored and the Alkmaar lead was handed over: 2-2. Ajax’s promises also have to settle for a point. In and against Oss, after a disappointing match, it eventually became: 1-1.

Jong AZ played against ADO in The Hague. At the start of the match, the game waved up and down with chances. For example, Iman Griffith and Zico Buurmeester were close to the opening goal in the first half. Still, the Alkmaarders got the lid on the nose. Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro, who replaced Sem Westerveld on goal, was able to turn the bet. Joel Zwarts’ rebound was too powerful for him: 1-0. The Alkmaar promises didn’t get any great opportunities in the rest of the first half.

Red card

After the break, Jong AZ tied the score. Soulyman Allouch curled the ball into the goal, which was his fourth goal of the season. Thomas Verheydt then got a big chance, but as is often the case this evening, Owusu-Oduro proved to be an obstacle. The match turned out of nowhere after a red card for midfielder Jordy Wehrmann.

It immediately yielded the desired result, as Zico Buurmeester scored the 2-1 in a controlled manner. However, the Hagenese did not give in and struck mercilessly just before time. Amar Ćatić was the goalscorer and Verheydt even had the victory on his shoe. Again Owuso-Oduro was a bummer, keeping it 2-2. The team of coach Maarten Martens is now in fourth place.

Line-up Young AZ: Owuso-Oduro; Lathouwers (Dekkers/71), Goes, Stam, Engel; Allouch (Postma/90+4), Twisk, Buurmeester, Addai (Pynadath/59); Reverson (Kwakman/71) and Griffith

Point for Young Ajax

The Jong Ajax match at TOP Oss started after a minute’s silence in the memory of goalkeeper Piet Schrijvers, who died yesterday. After the first whistle, Ajax immediately insisted. It quickly led to a goal. After a well-played attack, Christian Rasmussen made the 0-1 with his left leg after ten minutes. It turned out to be one of the few opportunities, as both teams failed to create great opportunities in the first half.

After tea, TOP Oss took the game a bit more and after an hour of play, Jearl Margaritha scored the equalizer: 1-1. Goal scorer Rasmussen forced goalkeeper Thijs Janssen to make a great save. In the remaining part there were hardly any chances to note, so that the promises of Ajax returned to Amsterdam with a point in their pocket.

Young Ajax line-up: The count; Jermoumi, Warmerdam, Pierie, Milovanovic; Hlynsson, Fitz-Jim (Misehouy/78), Reign; Marhta (Aertssen/72), Rasmussen and Van Axel Dongen (Hansen/46)
