US Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Tokyo later this month for the state funeral of Shinzo Abe, the former prime minister of Japan who was shot dead at a campaign event in early July. The visit is also dominated by “a free Indo-Pacific region,” the White House reported on Wednesday.
