The theme of the 66th Flower Parade is ‘Work in progress’. Fifteen parade districts competed for the prizes on Saturday afternoon. The big winner was corsowijk Hooiweg-Schlfhorst. The car, with the protection of the Wadden Sea Region as the theme, was awarded the first place by the jury. In addition, the car won the prize of honor and the prize for the best design. One of the extras burst into tears when the golden confetti from the cannon of parade chair Jacqueline Haijkens fluttered around her.
