THEthe 139thSandringham Flower Show – returned, after two years of absence caused by the pandemic – in the residence of Queen Elizabeth, offers the better than British and international horticulture. To inaugurate it, Carlo and Camillaarrived in one carriage pulled by two white horses, greeted by a military band, and immediately mingled with the visitors (20,000 are expected this year), stopping at every stall.

The Prince of Wales confirmed the affection the Royal Family has for the event organized on the Sandringham Park estate, in the county of Norfolk, where the queen usually celebrates her Christmas. And she related that as a child he used to visit it every year with the queen mother, to whom he was very fond: “Grandmother would be so happy to know that it continues to unfold today.”

A crown for Carlo and Camilla, but knitted
Carlo and Camilla visited the gardens recreated for the occasion by important names and were particularly interested in handicraft products, stopping to chat with the managers. And the duchess, future queen, could not help but pose next to an imperial crown resting on a pedestal and entirely knitted.
