Yolanthe Cabau does not want to respond to the statements of her former lover Wesley Sneijder. The two are currently on holiday in Ibiza with their son and Wesley is optimistic.
Wesley Sneijder and Yolanthe Cabau were for years one of the most talked about showbiz couples in the Netherlands. They broke up in early 2019 after an eight-year marriage, because he led a secret double life. He has always put the blame on himself and has always remained optimistic about a love reunion.
Wesley hopeful
At the moment, Wesley and Yolanthe are spending the summer together in Ibiza, where they still have a villa together. “There has never really been a separation between the two. That is a writing on the wall in itself. They have never been in a hurry with that,” said Private boss Evert Sankrediets.
Everts magazine Privé managed to arrange an exclusive interview with Wesley and that is in the magazine this week. “You know what I’ve always said about it: one day we’ll get back together. I’ve been fighting for that for years. That is the most important goal in my life,” says the former football player.
Does Yolanthe want too?
Does Yolanthe want that too? “You know, you don’t ask. At least not me. She knows how I am. We are now together in Ibiza and we have a great time. Time will have to tell. Something like that has to grow. It’s not just snapping your fingers and something is good again. We laugh and joke with each other again.”
But what about Yolanthe’s alleged date Lentini Eersteling? “I do not know. I don’t talk to her about that either. We now have our moment, I enjoy that. So much is said and names are mentioned. I’m really not going to ask Yo, what about so-and-so? I think that’s weird. And the other way around, she doesn’t do that to me either.”
Yolanthe is silent
If Wesley and Yolanthe reunite, “Private will be the first to bring the news,” he says in the magazine.
And Yolanthe? He is silent. “We have briefly spoken with the manager of Yolanthe, but he does not want to go into this further,” said RTL Boulevard presenter Luuk Ikink.
