Sami Välimäki finished fourth in the European Golf Tour in Munich, Germany.
Välimäki’s result in the overall competition was 18 strokes less than a pair. The result on the closing day was less than five. The Finnish player will receive a prize of 100,000 euros in fourth place.
Välimäki, 23, has previously won one European tour in his career. The last time Välimäki had reached the top ten on tour was 1.5 years ago.
The Chinese won the race Li Haotong with a score of 22 under a pair. Kakkonen was Belgian Thomas Pieters and the third in New Zealand Ryan Fox.
Three weeks ago he won a tour of the competition in Hamburg Kalle Samoa ranked 21st in Munich. Mikko Korhonen in turn came in a split 26th place.
On the women’s European tour Ursula Wikström finished ninth in the race in Prague.
