Poland’s ski jumping high-flyer Kacper Tomasiak won three medals at the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. This is now really paying off for the shooting star.
Ski jumper Kacper Tomasiak is being rewarded for his achievements at the recent Winter Olympics in Italy.
As he told “Fakt”, the 19-year-old has now chosen his 45 square meter apartment in the south of Warsaw. This was guaranteed to him by the property developer Profbud, one of the sponsors of the Polish Olympic Committee. The value of the two-room apartment is said to be over 230,000 euros.
In the future, Tomasiak will live in the “City of the Polish Olympic Champions” settlement, although it is not yet clear to him how often he will actually stay in his new home. “At the moment I think that I will be here from time to time, although I don’t have any concrete plans yet. I think everything will be sorted out over time. It’s difficult to say how often I will be here because many decisions are made spontaneously,” he confessed.
He “didn’t have any major difficulties” when choosing a new apartment because his parents helped him. “If I had had to make this decision on my own, it would probably have been much more difficult. Thanks to their support, everything was much easier, especially since they have more experience and are better versed in such matters,” said the 19-year-old, whose rise to the top of the world’s ski jumping ranks was one of the big surprises last season.
The Polish ski jumper only celebrated his World Cup debut in November last year. At the Winter Olympics he secured silver on the normal hill and with the super team. Bronze also came from the large hill.
