The roof of a house on Pastelblauw in Rosmalen was destroyed by fire on Saturday morning. The fire broke out around eleven o’clock, probably under the solar panels.
The fire brigade immediately scaled up and responded with three tankers, a water truck and a ladder truck. Upon arrival, flames were already shooting out of the roof, but the fire brigade quickly got the fire under control.
Heavy damage to the home
Nevertheless, the roof was severely damaged. In addition, significant water damage occurred because a lot of fire extinguishing water entered the house.
After about an hour of extinguishing the fire, the fire brigade was able to return to the barracks. As far as we know, no one was injured.
Cause still unclear
Exactly how the fire could have started is being investigated.
