In Heiloo, Francis is short on eyes and ears in the local thrift store. Something the owner agrees with. “It has been that way for me for 42 years. I don’t go to work every day, but to my shop every day, where I have fun,” says Frank Schouten.

According to him, Kringloop Heiloo is affordable ‘for people on a tight budget’. “We also have young mothers here with children who are divorced and are having financial difficulties. Children’s clothing and children’s books therefore all cost fifty cents.”
