The speculation about an end to the collaboration between Borussia Dortmund and striker Serhou Guirassy continues. It is also becoming increasingly clear that BVB is already prepared if the worst comes to the worst.
As the club-affiliated “Ruhr Nachrichten” now reports, a transfer of Fisnik Asllani (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim) would be the Black and Yellows’ “preferred solution” should Guirassy leave. Accordingly, the name of the 23-year-old attacker has recently come into focus again at BVB.
Accordingly, around 30 million euros would be due for Asllani. This sum apparently includes an exit clause in his contract in Hoffenheim, which runs until 2029, for clubs that have been represented in the Champions League in the last three years, which is known to apply to BVB.
Dortmund’s sports director Ole Book already knows Asllani from their time together at SV Elversberg. The BVB decision-makers, the report continues, clearly signaled their interest to the players. But there must first be movement on the exit side.
But: Basically, the BVB bosses wanted to convince Guirassy to stay.
BVB: Guirassy advisor reacts to rumors
The 30-year-old Guinea international is currently being hotly traded in Turkey for Fenerbahce. Most recently we heard from Bosphorus that he had already verbally agreed to the club. Discussions are now planned with BVB in order to force a written agreement.
Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur from the English Premier League are also linked to Guirassy.
However, it appears that nothing is dry yet.
“To be clear: no agreement of any kind has been reached,” Guirassy’s brother and adviser Karamba told Sky on Thursday. “Serhou is currently considering his options for next season. Any claim of a verbal deal is simply not true.”
