Inspired by my son who was sighing and groaning as he prepared for his Latin exam, I looked up my own exam. Coincidentally, his exam was also about Seneca, the same writer as in my exam, more than thirty years ago.
During my search in the attic I also came across my old reports. My son seemed equally impressed by my 10 for Latin (in the lower grades). Then he remarks: “Well, if we hadn’t had a telephone, I could have done that too…”
