The American actor John Malkovich won the Croatian citizenship today. This was a special ceremony in Zagreb.
“The international actor who rolls with his own stamp is printed on the film, he has a new role in his name and has become a Croatian citizen,” writes Minister of Internal Affairs Davor Božinović in a report on X.
The 72-year-old Malkovich has Croatian voorouders. Zijn overgrootouders emigreerden from Ozalj, in central Croatia, near the United States.
