Sports reporter by Danika Mason The Olympic report distributed by Italy did not quite go well.

Mason left quite a memorable impression of himself on the live broadcast of the Australian television channel Channel 9. Mason was quoting coffee prices in the Italian village of Livigno, the site of the Olympic Games, when his speech began to trail off.

Mason slurred his words and appeared quite powerful during his report.

According to the Daily Mail, Mason also had time to jump into a project where he made snow angels during his TV appearance.

The performance in question attracted attention on social media.

Now Mason is apologizing for what happened. He admits that he was drunk during his TV visit.

– I’m fine, but I’m ashamed, Mason stated in a later television broadcast.

– I made a misjudgment. I shouldn’t have been in the know, especially in these circles. It didn’t help that we are high up in the cold and I hadn’t eaten properly. I fully bear my responsibility, and that was not the kind of behavior I can accept from myself, Mason apologized.

Mason received support from, among others, the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese.

– He is in Italy and he must have been tired. The time difference has affected the guarantee. Nothing in that, Albanese stated according to the BBC.
