A man fled after a shop robbery on Noordersingel in Assen. The suspect took off on a bicycle. It is not known whether he took anything.
According to bystanders, the man threatened the store staff with a knife. In a Burgernet report, the suspect is described as someone with a dark skin color, approximately 40 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, a hat, a gray scarf and had a backpack with him.
The police warn not to approach the man yourself and to call 112 immediately if you see the suspect.
