Inter alia Jungle stars singer known from the show Janely or Jaanika Leinorecently participated in an event organized by social media celebrities Pacthouse-reality competition, which was streamed on social media.
Pacthouse reminiscent of what is familiar from television Big Brother program. In the competition, famous people competed for a cash prize and other prizes. In addition to Janely, the participants included, among others Joni Hesselgren and Kelly Kalonji.
Spectators could watch live daily broadcasts via the internet and influence the course of the competition. The competition was held in a villa in Spain, where the participants lived for a week.
– To me, it was sold as a positive experience, through which you get additional visibility. Visibility wasn’t that important to me. A few of my friends were there so I thought this would be a nice holiday in Spain. A holiday where you can even win money. I didn’t think anything negative could come of it. In the end, the experience was quite different, Janely says now.

During the competition, Janely got into arguments with another participant, Juhana Tegelberginwith As a result of the argument, the whole competition turned into a nightmare according to Janely. Video clips of the clashes between the duo are still circulating on the Tiktok app.
In Janely’s view, the problems started when she asked production to intervene in Tegelberg’s behavior in the house. In live broadcasts, Tegelberg used, among other things, offensive terms for transgender people and spoke in a misogynistic tone.
Perhaps the fiercest argument broke out one evening between Janely and Tegelberg in the living room of the house. In a live broadcast, Tegelberg criticized Janely’s body as fat. His singing career and singing voice also came under fire. The situation escalated to a solution that Janely is not particularly proud of.
– He humiliated me in that. As an impulsive person, I started to get pissed off by his bullshit. I took the glass in my hand and poured it over him. I’m not proud of it. I could have left the drinks and acted smarter.
Janely says that her mental health was put to the test on the set. She spent one night on the set on the toilet floor crying about her anxiety and felt that the situation was not being addressed. Janely would have hoped that the production would not allow any kind of hate speech in the house, such as comments about her body.
– The viewers may be people who are, for example, bigger than me. How do you feel about them? Janely ponders now.
The torment continued after the race
The scenes did not stay only inside the walls of the house. The competition ended at the beginning of December, but Janely still hasn’t gotten rid of social media harassment.
Janely says that she started receiving a lot of hateful and threatening messages from unknown people on social media while she was already in the house. He estimated that the senders of the hate messages were fans of Tegelberg. Iltalehti has seen the messages.
– The last time today I received a threatening message threatening to knock my teeth down my throat, Janely says. Iltalehti has seen the message in question.
Even after the competition, Tegelberg has continued to hold grudges on social media. and incited his fans to attack Janely. Iltalehti has seen a video in which Tegelberg urges his fans to bully Janely.
Janely plans to file a criminal complaint about the harassment and threatening messages she experienced. Janely has also consulted lawyers.

Tegelberg and the production commented
Iltalehti reached out Juhana Tegelbergin to comment on the matter via social media. Tegelberg stated that he does not want to give comments to the media. However, he commented enough that the problems arose because Janely did not already know who he was. Tegelberg is known on social media for his violent outbursts.
– If he had known who I was, he would never have opposed me, Tegelberg said in a sharp voice message he sent to the journalist.
Iltalehti also caught up with the pilot of the Pacthouse competition on Instagram by Anthony Singhknown by the nickname Saini, to comment on the case.
– If the production becomes aware of situations that violate the agreed rules of the game or are perceived as offensive, they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Not all situations are visible to viewers as they are and some of them are dealt with by talking to the parties behind the scenes, he replies in his written message.
Singh says the Pacthouse competition has clear rules of the game that prohibit discriminatory, misogynistic or offensive language.
– The production does not accept this kind of speech and tries to steer the atmosphere in a more respectful direction if necessary.
Singh says the production takes the participants’ experiences seriously and has been in touch with Janely.
– It has been made clear to him that participation in the program is voluntary and that he has the option to stop his participation if he feels uncomfortable.
In the future, the production plans to pay even more attention to supporting the participants outside of filming, as the production does not accept social media bullying or threats. The production intends, for example, to instruct and advise the participants in situations, and to maintain closer contact if necessary.
