Sweden’s young skiing promise by Alvar Myhlback19, the Tour de Ski has not started in the best possible way.
On Sunday, he did not make it to the sprint qualifying, but had to watch the victory struggle from the stands. He knew how to wait for the result, but stated that the situation was “unfortunate”.
On Monday, in the traditional ten kilometer race, he was far from the top. Farewell to the winner of the race Mattis to Stenshagen accumulated almost two minutes (+1.51).
The young man was not in the mood to talk after the race.
Swedish media Expressen asked the top prospect after the race what he thought about his performance.
– I don’t want to think about it, he answered.
Expressen’s reporter then asked how Myhlback felt after ten kilometers.
The answer was laconic.
– I don’t know. I just want to get out of here, he insisted.
Myhlback was ill before Christmas and the start of the Tour. He admitted that his body does not feel good.
– If I get sick again, I’ll stop playing, he said.
Expressen’s reporter started to ask his next question, but Myhlback walked away from the situation in the middle of the question.
According to the newspaper, he went to talk to the Swedish coach To Lars Ljung.

Myhlback has skied very well in the early season.
He was third in the sprint at the World Cup in Trondheim. In Ruka, he was ninth in the same competition.
