Groen warns of a sharp decline in pensions, but expert Baert dismisses the calculation

According to calculations made by the opposition party Groen by the Planning Bureau, pension amounts would fall more deeply in the coming decades than previously thought. This is because the pensions would no longer be adjusted to prosperity, which had not yet been included in the figures. “But the calculation does not seem to come from an ivory, but from the green tower,” says labor expert Stijn Baert (UGent).
