For the time being, colder weather is not really coming, but that is not a problem: “We used to have 14cm of ice, we have now also added 5cm of insulation so that the cold goes up and not down,” says Alain Dagraeed.
“We can also freeze faster. All tents are now closed all around to keep the cold in place. We also have thicker tarps that keep everything inside. This means we can easily make ice up to 17, 18 degrees.”
