Main character from Dutch ‘Sinterklaas news’ threatened with death, police called

Niels van der Laan, who plays the Head Pete in the popular Dutch television program ‘Het Sinterklaasjournaal’, has been threatened with death. This is what presenter Merel Westrik says in the Dutch talk show ‘Eva’. It happened to such an extent that even the police had to be called in. “It was a serious threat. Niels was stunned,” Merel Westrik told the newspaper ‘AD’.
