Strength to continue
To have a chance you have to send a text message. The proceeds from the campaign will go to the oncology department of the AZ Groeninge. They see more than three thousand patients there every year. They want to use the money to offer beauty treatments, such as hand massages, to cancer patients. Melissa Naert, beautician AZ Groeninge: “A short hand massage actually only takes ten minutes, but it can make a big difference for people to really feel better again. People often have tingling in their fingers due to chemo. The massage softens this again and gives them the strength to continue.”
Necessary
This Hotel Veekaa campaign is essential for the survival of beauty care, because funding will no longer be available from next year. “I would really like to do it every day with all my heart. I find it so motivating, I get a lot of satisfaction from it for both the patient and for myself. I really hope to be able to continue this for as long and as much as possible.”
On December 8, there will be a total of three double beds here and the winners will wake up with this view.
