The team of interim Ajax coach Fred Grim once again failed to win in the Champions League on Tuesday and is stuck at zero points. This makes it the worst performing Dutch team in the Champions League ever. The Amsterdam team lost 0-2 to Benfica. Fred Grim’s team started the match with quite a few changes. The coach of that team, José Mourinho, who always manages to win against Ajax, took his first points. Afterwards there was a lot of talk about the player Rayane Bounida, who made his starting debut. Ajax follower from De Telegraaf, Mike Verweij, was at the match and gives his analysis. According to him, Ajax deserved more than the final loss. Verweij also sees a few positive points that Ajax can possibly build on.
