At the proposal of Minister Rijkaart of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has agreed to nominate Mrs AH (Agnes) Mulder for appointment as King’s Commissioner in the province of Drenthe. The appointment takes effect on January 1, 2026.

Agnes Mulder is 52 years old. She succeeds Jetta Klijnsma, who will retire on December 1, 2025. Agnes Mulder is currently director of VNO-NCW MKB Noord. Before that, she was a member of the House of Representatives for the CDA for almost 11 years.
