It is undeniable that Jada Borsato benefits from the media attention for the indecent case against her father Marco Borsato. Lately, she has been standing in front of the Shownieuws camera several times a week to shout about how innocent her father is, and in passing she also indicates that she is currently touring the country with his songs.

‘Works out well’

Why Jada does that? “Of course I haven’t released enough to fill an entire set list, which is why I also sing a large part of my father’s repertoire,” she explains in Show news. “And that fits with the repertoire that I like to sing and I just think it is very nice to honor his music in that way.”

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker thinks it is useful of Jada that she uses the PR circus around dad so cleverly. “I don’t want to say that it suits her now, because you wouldn’t wish this on anyone, but it means she can now profile herself a bit.”

‘What nonsense!’

Presenter Dyantha Brooks thinks that is a disgraceful comment. “Yes, I think that’s really nonsense!”

Guido: “Excuse me. Sorry that I exist.”

Dyantha: “Yes, today we are fierce. I want to play with you just as Bram and Sandra did. No, but if her father were still the big star that she was, wouldn’t she benefit from that much more?”

Next time

Guido then backs down somewhat. “I’m not saying that either. I’m just saying that under the current circumstances it is also nice for her, and for the family, that she is doing something positive. Perhaps I should have explained it this way.”

Dyantha: “Yes, you could have explained it better that way.”

Guido finally: “Then we will do that next time.”
