The fact that 34 countries are certain automatically means that there are only fourteen tickets left to distribute for the tournament that has 48 participants for the first time in its history. Of course, those 34 include host countries Canada, Mexico and the United States. In addition, 31 have successfully completed the World Cup qualification.

Remaining tickets
The remaining tickets are mainly for European countries. Five more will be distributed this evening and four more will follow in March via the play-offs.
Of the remaining five tickets, three are for North American countries. That decision will also be made this week.
Finally, there are two more tickets that will be distributed at the intercontinental play-offs in March. Participating in this are an Asian country, an African country, a South American country, an Oceanic country and two countries from North America.
