The fire broke out just before 9:45 p.m. at a house on Mooyeveld. The safety region reports that the residents were able to leave their homes on time.
Due to the decorative fireworks in the home, the fire brigade cannot extinguish the fire in the home for safety reasons. The fire is therefore only extinguished from the outside.
The fire brigade called in three tankers, and a car with extra water was also deployed, because there is no open water in the immediate area.
