October 12, 2025 (changed at 00:14) – TRENT

The 2025 Festival will end with a bang: even the program for the last day is head-spinningly rich. From morning to evening, it will be a continuous series of meetings and talk shows, one more interesting than the other. Here is a summary. At 10am, at the Palazzo della Regione, there will be the former manager of Liverpool and Napoli, Rafa Benitez (“Football my way”) and, at Palazzo Geremia, one of the best hopes of Italian sport, the 15-year-old sprinter Kelly Doualla (“The daughter of the Wind”). At 10.30, at the Teatro Sociale, the splendid couple composed of Gregorio Paltrinieri and Rossella Fiammingo, swimmer and fencer who bring prestige to Italian sport (“A medal on the heart”). At 11am, at the Santa Chiara Auditorium, the former coach of the national team, Luciano Spalletti (“My football, my life”) and, at the same time, at Palazzo Benvenuti, Aldo Grasso and Cristina Ferrini will remember the figure of Giorgio Ferrini, “The captain of captains”, great of Turin in the seventies. At the same time, in Piazza Cesare Battisti, Marco Melandri.

in the afternoon

Football still on the cards: at 12, at the Filarmonica, it will be the turn of Federico Bernardeschi, midfielder European champion with Italy in 2020 and today at Bologna. At the same time, at Palazzo Geremia, we will dive into the pool with former swimmer Domenico Fioravanti (“A question of the heart”). Dives too at 1pm, but descending into the abyss, with Pipin Ferreras and Umberto Pelizzari (Palazzo della Regione). The engines could not be missing. At 1.30 pm, at the Teatro Sociale, the great tandem Mika Hakkinen-Jacques Villeneuve (“F.1: my first 75 years”). More ball. And what a ball. At 2pm, at Santa Chiara, drum roll for the legendary Zinedine Zidane, who will be interviewed by Walter Veltroni (“Football at my feet”). At the same time, but at the Filarmonica, Enzo Maresca (“The future is blues”). Half an hour later, at Palazzo Geremia, another prestigious athletics event with Andrea Dallavalle, fresh vice triple world champion. At 4pm, here’s cycling: at the Philharmonic there will be a confrontation between Filippo Ganna and Elia Viviani, who has just announced his retirement from the stage. At 4.30pm we will play at home with Aquila Basket Trento in Piazza Duomo to celebrate the success in last season’s Italian Cup.

in the evening

At 5.30pm even the Santa Chiara will be small: in fact, Julio Velasco, coach of the Italdonne volleyball world champion and much more, is expected. At 6pm, at the Filarmonica, all the energy of Bebe Vio and, at Palazzo Geremia, two rugby legends: the former All Blacks John Kirwan and the former Italian captain Sergio Parisse. The closing is entrusted to Mister genius and recklessness Mario Balotelli: he will be at the Teatro Sociale at 6.30pm. To make your head spin, indeed.
