On the A16 near the Moerdijk Bridge, motorists were stuck in traffic jams for about half an hour on Friday afternoon around four o’clock due to an accident. A recovery company towed the cars involved. Traffic towards Rotterdam must therefore take crowds into account from the Zonzeel junction.
Motorists must also take into account a fifteen-minute delay on the A17 from Roosendaal. A broken car on the A29 between Bergen op Zoom and Rotterdam causes a delay of about forty minutes. The left lane is closed there.
Holiday crowds
It is also busy on the A58 towards Breda and the delay is about twenty minutes. Due to the autumn holidays, the ANWB expects traffic on the Brabant highways on Friday afternoon.
This started early on Friday afternoon with a burning car on the A27 that caused a delay of more than an hour. And there were also heavy traffic jams on the A2.
