You want to make a risk assessment, also as a football coach. So yesterday, Florian, youth trainer in Beverwijk, requested the Tiktok and Snapchat messages that are circulating with his pupils. “Here, just look …”
Anonymous Snapchat message, forwarded:
“There has been a fight on the Feestweek … Then Heemskerkers pulled and filmed his pants with someone from Haarlem and that went viral …. and now it was payback …”
A tapping video of a half-naked man who is kicked out of the ground. Someone shouts: “Cancer nut with your little lala …” Text underneath: “1 Beverwijker clamed.”
Tiktok circulate images of alleged abuse; Young people send them through and call on to fight each other
Another anonymous message:
“Hey everyone who is in the Castor, I would not go to school tomorrow in connection with the ‘war’ between Haarlem and Beverwijk, there will also be a shooting.”
Castor College is closed today. Just like all other secondary schools in Beverwijk and Heemskerk and a number of sports clubs. By order of the mayor, who announced an emergency order on Thursday evening and regarded a number of neighborhoods as a safety risk area. Coments are prohibited and preventive searching. The reason: images that go around online of alleged violent incidents between two rival youth groups in Beverwijk and the Haarlem Schalkwijk district.

Bench
As far as we know, Beverwijk has never had a feud with Schalkwijk. The online violence is said to have started at the fair during the Heemskerkse Feestweek last week. “A Akkefietje,” thinks in his twenties Florian, standing in front of Castor College – he does not want to be called the surname because of his privacy. “Action, reaction. And now this. Italian situations. A Vendetta.”
Like others, he points to sports hall De Walvis at the end of the street. Stelly: “That is where the mistreatment took place.”
“There at those benches,” points Alejantro (13) – last name known to the editors – on a fatbike next to the sports hall. “There someone was beaten up and threatened with a firearm.” The videos on Tiktok are dark, there is no clear place to see, but it is sure.
Alejantro, who is at Castor College himself, received the videos from all sides via Snapchat and Tiktok. Neither he nor his friends know victims or perpetrator, but they all saw the online feud escalating in a few days to threaten to shoot and an AI video in which a bomb falls at the school.

Parents
The whale, a somewhat afterwards sports hall next to a park and sports fields, is extinct on this Friday afternoon. But you just have to come there in the evening, says Ellie Bouwens, competition secretary at football club DEM, who has canceled the evening training courses due to all the threat. There is always a group of young people for whale and the nuisance has increased last year. “Do you want to blow my brother?” They call when you drive by. “Pipe for your resins!” I shout back. ” The young people sometimes just walk onto the football club. And recently a youth member of a Fatbike was robbed. “That has led to a lot of unrest, also with parents.”
And have you heard, sounds from the mouth of a 25-year-old who rolls a joint for the Vomar supermarket, further down, of the destruction last week at Castor College? “Someone has let the sprinkler go off. 5,000 liters of water! I think that the person was sent by those boys from Schalkwijk.” The escalation, that is “stack, stack, stack huh”. And tonight, he heard on Tiktok, “the beef” must be settled. “Then they will fight here in the area. From 5 p.m. everyone will stay inside. I’m going to follow it online.”
You should know what a stories are going around
“You should know,” says police spokesman Noord-Holland, “what stories are all going around.” A 22-year-old suspect has now been arrested for the incident with a sprinkler installation. “He has nothing to do with the online threat,” says the spokesperson. And the incident with the fat bike theft is also independent of it. “Something very different played there.”
And whether the films of the abuse are real? “That is still in research,” says the spokesperson. “We only know that there are two groups that live with each other. But what the cause of the conflict is: no idea.” Whether a victim of abuse has reported? “We can’t make statements about it.”
Whether there was a mistreatment at Sporthal de Walvis? “Good if people can see that based on those videos!”
