A wild police pursuit ended on Monday at the Buitendijk in Hank. Two suspects of a violent robbery were taken out of their car under shot. In addition, the police also fired a warning shot.
The chase started on Monday afternoon in Nieuwegein. Around two o’clock the two suspects tried to rob a man there in Parallelstraat. The victim was also mistreated. The perpetrators fled in a car and agents immediately started the pursuit.
After a dollar ride of almost forty kilometers, agents managed to stand the car in Hank to a halt. The suspects were taken out of the car by the police with drawn weapons. A warning shot was also fired.
The two men have been arrested for robbery, abuse and the avoidance of the police. It is not clear how the abused man is doing and what injuries he had from the robbery.
