On Friday evening it was the highlight, with various familiar faces that complained the horrors in Gaza with a contemporary version of ‘J’accuse’. Wannes Cappelle, Anne Provoost, Kobe Sercu and Wim Chielens, among others, took the floor. A few Ypres people also testified, such as actor Dirk Clement: “Enough is enough. Stop and take action now. You can boycott the extreme right -wing government. We tell the Flemish and Federal Government and to Europe. And you can recognize the state of Palestine. Those are two very important things that we wanted to resemble on Friday evening.”
