The Handelsverbund Sport 2000 has reached a milestone with its retail concept “Absolute Team Sport”. Last Thursday, the company belonging to the AnwR Group opened the 50th branch of the special format in the Slovenian city of Maribor.
According to Sport 2000, the new store absolute team sport Golgeter is operated together with the local sporting goods dealer Gol Doo. The shop is located in the E.Leclerc Maribor shopping center and has a sales area of around 200 square meters. Products from well-known international sporting goods brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Jako, Hummel, Skechers and Mizuno are now offered there.
Sport-20000 Managing Director Dominik Solleder emphasized the importance of the recent growth step by absolute team sport. “The opening of our 50th store shows how powerful our expansion strategy works,” he emphasized in a message published on Monday. In the meantime, the format is represented in 13 countries in Europe and in the Middle East.
Sport 2000 relies on the local partner Golgeter in Slovenia
Björn Endter, who has been working as a Head of Division Teamsport at Sport 2000 since the beginning of May, was happy about the partnership. “The opening in Slovenia is another important step for our specialist format absolute team sport,” he said. “With Golgetter we have won a strong specialist dealer who, as an exclusive partner in Slovenia, expands our global cover and represents the concept locally authentic and in the sense of the absolute team sport strategy – with great football competence, regional anchoring and a clear quality standards for the relevant customer groups.”
