Many trainers, including Martens, would like to see all positions double occupied. To the satisfaction of the technical staff, all positions are well occupied at AZ. The only comment is the experience of some players.
“With Elijah Dijkstra and Billy van Duil we have two talents with little experience at the highest level. That does not mean that some talents can go through a stormy development. That cannot be predicted. But all players in the selection have perspective. In terms of positions we have taken everything well,” says Martens.
