According to agreed media reports, Daniel Peretz from the soccer bundle religist FC Bayern was faced with a switch to PSV Eindhoven. But the transfer has apparently burst. Instead, the Dutch is now targeting a keeper from Bayer Leverkusen.
As “Sky” reporter Luca Bendoni reports, Daniel Peretz will not switch to PSV Eindhoven. Accordingly, those responsible for FC Bayern and those of the Dutch could not agree.
Before that, it was said that Peretz, who still has a current contract in Munich until 2028, should move to Eindhoven. A loan business with a subsequent purchase option for the Dutch champion was planned.
The Israeli national goalkeeper has so far played no role at FC Bayern. Since his change in the summer of 2023, he has only had seven missions for the Munich team in the Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Cup. At the latest since Jonas Urbig’s commitment this winter, Peretz has been on the siding even further.
However, FC Bayern and Eindhoven apparently could not achieve an agreement. Specifically, it should have been the amount of the rental fee.
Leverkusen keeper as a Peretz alternative for PSV Eindhoven?
Instead of Peretz, the PSV is now apparently trying to Matej Kovar from Bayer Leverkusen.
Czech moved from Manchester United to Leverkusen in 2023 for five million euros and played 32 competitive games for Bayer in two years, but only six of them in the Bundesliga.
The 25-year-old received his chances under ex-coach Xabi Alonso, but ultimately did not use them convincingly. In the Champions League game against FC Bayern Munich, for example, he missed decisively.
Kovar is still bound to Bayer Leverkusen until 2027. Rumors about an early farewell have been circulating since March.
