Robert Mühren extends the contract and enters Volendam Eredivisie
Robert Mühren will also play at FC Volendam next season. The 36-year-old striker has extended his expiring contract for a year and enters the Eredivisie with the Noord-Hollanders.
With eighteen goals, Mühren had a large share in the title of Volendam in the first division. Teammate Henk Veerman scored more often, 26 times.
“Inside and outside the field, Robert has had an important share in the success of last season. We are happy that we were able to record Robert for another year and that he will go to the Eredivisie with us,” responds Patrick Busby, technical director of FC Volendam on the club’s website.
Mühren debuted in 2011 at FC Volendam in professional football. Then he came out for AZ, Zulte-Waregem, Sparta Rotterdam, NAC Breda and SC Cambuur. In 2021, Mühren returned to Volendam.
