Arrest warrant did not appear at the announced appearance at the World Club Dome Frankfurt. After two hours of waiting, the cancellation followed.
For many, arrest warrant is seen as a musical representation of Offenbach and Frankfurt. With his track “069”, the Offenbach rapper, together with Bazzazian, helped the area code gain new fame and thus represents the city like no other rapper. So it’s no wonder that many fans are particularly looking forward to performances in Frankfurt. On Sunday, June 7th, it was supposed to happen again: an arrest warrant was announced for 7:00 p.m. at the World Club Dome in Frankfurt. The crowds gathered in front of the stage – and initially got nothing.
Announced but didn’t show up
At 7:00 p.m., neither Warrant nor his entourage were seen on stage. However, anyone who had ever seen Baba Haft perform was hardly shocked at this point – after all, the rapper had often started his concerts late. To tide things over, a DJ kept the crowd warm, which was quite successful given the mosh pits that can be seen in online videos.
Then a man with a microphone who didn’t have the stage name arrest came onto the stage: a festival speaker who announced that there was good news and bad news. Unfortunately, the arrest warrant would be a little late, but it would actually occur. New time: 9:00 p.m. In addition, SSIO could bring forward its appearance. The tracklist from SSIO was then played – and according to “Hiphop.de” it was successful.
But then a sentence appeared on the scoreboard that many had probably already feared: “WE TRIED EVERYTHING, BUT ARREST HAS JUST CANCELED THE PERFORMANCE.” The fans waited and celebrated. SSIO and DJ were nice, but most of them came especially for Baba Haft, as videos on Instagram show.
Many were disappointed and angry, as the comment sections under posts show.
More than a rejection
It wasn’t until the end of October 2025 that arrest warrant appeared in the Netflix documentary, “Babo – The Arrest Warrant Story”, in which he described his struggle with drug problems and his life on the verge of his own death – as well as his fight against the chains of the music industry. Performances at any cost were put above the health of a drug addict, and there was no time for family. After a near-death experience due to excessive drug use, he was finally taken to rehab.
Opinions online regarding his newly launched arena tour are correspondingly divided. On September 20th he is scheduled to perform again in Frankfurt in the Festhalle. It has not yet been announced why the appearance at the World Club Dome was canceled.
