Ex-national trainer becomes a TV expert

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg was the head of the national teams in Switzerland and Germany. She is there at the upcoming European Championship, but not on the bench.
At the home European Championship of women, Swiss television SRF relies on prominent support: Martina Voss-Tecklenburg is part of the team of experts that accompanies the games in the studio. Together with three other women, the 57-year-old analyzes the events during the tournament.
Imke Wübbenhorst, trainer of the Young Boys Bern women’s team, is also part of the team. The European Championship will take place in Switzerland from July 2 to 27.
Voss-Tecklenburg was responsible for the Swiss national team from 2012 to 2018 and then took over the German selection. After a second place at the 2022 European Championships in England, she surprisingly left the preliminary round with the German footballers at the 2023 World Cup in Australia.
Then she reported sick, after a long hanging area her collaboration with the DFB ended. Since then, the four -time European champion has no more work in football.
