Sydney Sweeney is currently launching a rather unusual product. In cooperation with Sweeney and the Natural Cosmetic brand Dr. Squatch appears a limited soap, with a very special ingredient: the real bathing water of the Hollywood actress. The name of the limited soap is suitable: “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss”.
What started as a joke – fans commented on earlier commercials in which Saney was sitting in a bathtub and spoke to the audience as a “dirty little boys” – is now becoming a reality. Apparently, enough fans asked about “a drop of their bathing water” that Sweeney thought: Why not?
“Morning Wood” and a little bath water
According to the description, the soap smells like Kiefer, or like Dr. Squatch it formulates charmingly: after “Morning Wood” (a pun, which you no longer have to explain). The manufacturer emphasizes that in every soap there is really a bit of the water in which Sydney Sweeney had bathed.
In an interview with GQ, Sweeney admitted that at first she didn’t even know that bathing water triggered such erotic fantasies. When the comments started under her advertising, it quickly became clear to her. Nevertheless, the “Euphoria” star sees the whole thing more loose-than a fun opportunity to get in touch with her fans.
Sydney Sweeney: “I thought: Why not?”
“People are constantly joking that they want my bathing water,” Sweeney told GQ. “I thought: Why not? It is a funny idea, gets the conversation going – and maybe motivates people to wash themselves properly again.”
However, according to the “Consequence” there is also a certain message: Sweeney has repeatedly talked about the pressure in the past how little control she has about her public image – especially when it is constantly discussed about her body. This soap is a way for them to recapture the topic in their own way: with humor, self -irony and a wink.
In an earlier interview with “Glamor” Sweeney said: “I believe that you should feel comfortable with your body. If you have breasts, you shouldn’t have to hide them.”
The thought: control over your own image
The soap project is also an act of self-empowerment for the “White Lotus” actress. In doing so, she wanted to regain a piece of control over her image and at the same time make men “think” about personal hygiene.
With “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss”, Sydney Sweeney is part of a curious tradition: A limited record collector played with bathing water, which was inspired by a bizarre film scene with Barry Keoghan.
