VfB Stuttgart has adopted the attackers Fabian Rieder (23) and El Bilal Touré (23) after their loan. While the Swiss Rieder returns to Stade Rennes for the time being, the Malier Touré will again open at Atalanta Bergamo. In both cases, the Swabians pass a purchase option – at Touré there is even a purchase obligation that would have reached under certain conditions.
Rieder was on the pitch for the DFB Cup winner 33 times over 1,354 minutes, but was often a bank presser in the second half of the season. Touré had suffered a midfoot break in the national team in November, for him there were 17 missions over only 487 minutes. In the season finale, he was missing because of a new foot injury.

Sports board member Fabian Wohlgemuth said about Rieder: “Fabian quickly gained a foothold last summer and demonstrated his qualities in 33 competitive games. We thank him for his missions in the jersey with the Bundesliga in the Bundesliga, in the Champions League and in the DFB Cup and wish Fabian all the best and good luck for his next career test.” The manager explained to the Touré personnel: “El Bilal was an important option in our offensive in the past season. Very well remembered for all of us his goal in the Champions League in the victory against Juventus Turin. Now our paths are separated, we thank El Bilal for the time together and wish him all the best for his further career.”
